Al;
Pricing on eBay for Woz units seems to vary greatly depending on the salesmanship of the seller and the completeness of the package.

Often they are described as "Rare" or "Autographed". I believe 10,000 or so were sold, and it is not like Woz personally signed them, nevertheless the hyped ones sell in the $75 and up range. I think the demand for vintage computer items is low except for rare items, or very complete setups with original boxes, manuals, software etc.

My Reply follows quote. On 03/11/2005 22:07 [EMAIL PROTECTED] said:
I needed to test some IIgs memory cards so I took a "Woz" unit out of my pile. I was puzzled when the software I was using complained "You need a ROM 1" or higher..." Then it dawned on me that I apparently had

a unit with a ROM 0 logic board.

Did the Woz case ever come with a ROM 0 ? I thought the Woz units were

all ROM 1. Obviously the Woz cover could have easily been switched
from another  IIgs bottom section.
The ROM 0 seems unusually clean. It has a "State of CT" sticker on

the bottom. I guess the state bought it and never bothered to have it

upgraded and it was likely not used much either.

Thanks for any 2 cents worth :-)

I think the "Woz" IIgs I have is a "ROM 03" unit.
