Hmmm ... that is strange. Anyway, thinking about it, I now think
this all
started with 1.60b1, rather than 1.50src. And, in case you are
wondering,
yes it does attempt to create a "quick start" (note the spelling ;-)
file with
the garbage name that appears in the text area. Entering a "good"
batch
file name in the text area does the right thing though.

Maybe on an early Pentium? ;-)
One inch = 25.4mm ... (if you do electronics stuff, you should know
this!)

BTW, Another "silly" little problem : When you enter the page size
for
A4, the first digit disappears in the text area - you then have to
scroll left
to see all three digits. Even after you save and restart Arachne,
the first
digit will not appear unless you have done this ...

I was just suggesting to Clarence (?) that he try NOT loading a
mouse
driver if he wants to use the cursor keys like a mouse. This is
simply an
observation about cursor key handling that I once encountered - I
don't
normally use them for this, I find the mouse more convenient. Let me
also clarify that I am talking about moving the "hand" pointer
around the
screen - the left/right cursor keys always work as expected within a
text
entry box. If you are also talking about moving the "hand" pointer
around
the screen with the cursor keys, but find that this also works when
a
mouse driver IS loaded, perhaps this is a difference in mouse driver
or
the VGA BIOS? Anyway, this is something I observed earlier, but have
        not tried with 1.65 ...
