Probably, but don't bet on it. I have 15K free now since I changed my
bootup files (see my post to the Arachne mailinglist if you want to read
them) but couldn't load ca 10K in the high memmory (and DOS said that 14K
was the biggest hole I had). Might have been because I loaded my cd drivers
through a BATch file (using a program called "devload") and the first free
memmory area that can hold 102 bytes (or whatever this little program adds)
wasn't big enough to also fit the cd driver.
(DOS uses a method called "first-fit" when it chooses the memmory location
IIRC, "worst-fit" would have been the best in this case)
