Hello Folks,
As I've mentioned before, I now have installed PC-Pine, v. 3.96 for
DOS, and I have her up and running just fine to access the free IMAP
email services offered by Subdimension and Telebot.
I have only one problem with PC-Pine: She doesn't like NWCACHE.
I like to have a line like this in my AUTOEXEC.BAT:
NWCACHE 1024 512 /LEND=ON /DELAY=OFF
With the above line in my AUTOEXEC.BAT, PC-Pine will always crash
whenever I attempt to compose a message. With the line remarked out,
never a problem with PC-Pine; however, my Arachne will run very slow
without NWCACHE. I have a 386sx 33 Mhz PC, 8 MB RAM.
Comments, suggestions anyone?
As this subject may be considered off-topic, it might be a good idea
