Do you suppose I might get different results if I placed the line
for loading NWCACHE in a different order in my AUTOEXEC.BAT? Should
I conduct some experiments along such lines? I don't really understand
at all the meaning of "interrupts re-hooked"

When delay is set to "ON", I will invariably get non-identical copies
of the FAT whenever she crashes. I know. I've tried it. Also I've
tried increasing the size of the disk cache. Strangely enough, I cannot
speed up my Arachne by doing so.
