Is there a need for a command shell at all?
Arachne is normally executed through a batch file. If it is possible to
by-pass the batch, the kiosk can launch Arachne at boot-up by simply
putting core.exe in the comspec... Or am I just going off my trolley?

If a University saves a lot of money by setting up old computers as kiosks,
maybe some can be ploughed back into customizing Arachne.
