Like to add my input to this ..

Agreed. But I've had *bad* problems with "sleeping" which I cannot
pin directly on Arachne since there have been major server problems
world-wide.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! When doing a search with 50 hits per page, not
coming back to where you left the page is one hellacious pain in the
ASCII!!

This is true. And when you go to options page to fix it, the options
page shows that Icons are *not* selected. Requesting "use new settings"
at that point results in the icons still being there. I had to go to
options set up, select icons, then click again to NOT select icons, then
use new settings before I could get rid of them.

Here I had no problem. It recognized my VESA card, I selected for
the highest resolution possible, and got it.

I'll add my thanks also.
One thing Mike didn't mention: The periods where the screen will loose
lots of lines while using the e-mail editor are sometimes excessively
long ... and often are more than just one or two lines missing. It can
be very distracting, and time consuming waiting to see what I've said so
I know what I still need to say or correct.
Another thing: The default on External Mail should NOT be "grab your
floppy and stick it in"!! Those two lines should be commented out, with
a comment line above telling individual if they want to use floppy to
uncomment the two lines.
l.d.
Note: I installed b2 over b1. It was apparently working fine as far as
video, etc. was concerned. It was only after I had all sorts of
problems with getting rid of icons that I copied over my personal
profile to Arachne.cfg; I've used my old second profile also, and it
works just fine ... with the noted exceptions mentioned in body of
message.
