Um Richard, I think the memory leakage bug is going around. <g>

Path and Prompt are 2 commands that will modify the environment
without "Set". They don't work quite the same tho. 
If you type path you get to see your path without destroying it.
If you type prompt, it's goodbye prompt !
In both cases, you can type pxxx=whatever and it WILL get set.
