On this subject: Many of us prefer individual messages.(myself included)
Could someone please refresh my memory. I seem to remember that someone
has written a program to automatically cut digests into individual files.
If I'm mistaken and no such program yet exists.... I'll write one. <g>

Individual messages, one per file, have the disadvantage of being wasteful of
disk space under an OS (DOS) so inefficient with regard to disk space on large
partitions. It is also easier to scroll through one big file than call up a lot
of little files one by one.
What does digest look like, and what would a MIME-format digest look like? I'd
rather not get a big text file in BASE64, though I managed to extract
Elfbowl.exe from a message of 1.5 MB. I would want to see the individual sender
identities. Are all headers left intact in digest, and would they be left
intact in a MIME-format digest?
