I agree with L.D., Michael.  I have experienced the same problems she is
talking about in the case of another mailing list I subscribe to, which
sends all of its posts in digest form.  The newbies don't know how to
handle their replies.  Also I agree with all other comments L.D. has
made in her post concerning the disadvantages of digest form mailing
lists.
