Dear Clarence:
Perhaps your right. Maybe it would be a better idea to reduce
the size of the
buffers setting and try loading things high more. However, the Dos 6.22
that I have does not have
Loadhigh.exe so I will just have to go somewhere and see if I can "scarf
it up" from some Dos
5 user. Then I have to make it work with Dos 6.22. Maybe it would be a
good idea to just try the
DEVICEHIGH= or INSTALLHIGH= commands to get some of the same
effects. I will test this out. I still do not have the ISP yet.
Thanks for the suggestions.
Also, the extremely high ratings for speed are due mainly to the
co-processor being built right into the chip and that I did the rating
from a Dos shell. What is a dual-boot system?
Do you mean two partitions on the same disk or some kind of CGI? More
details, please?
Yours Sincerely,
Thomas / AKA Tom, user of Arachne for DOS
