Win2K also requires all 16 bit software to be upgraded to 32 bit software!
AutoCAD Release 14 *will not* run under Win2K even though it is a Windoze
only program. A firm that "upgraded" to Win2K but did not want to upgrade
their AutoCAD seats until they found out how Win2K worked (or didn't work)
was told to either upgrade to AutoCAD 2000 or remove Win2K.

I also heard that -- because it makes it impossible for people to use
any software except MicroSoft -- the ECM [or whatever the Eropean United
whatzits is called] plan to ban MS from exporting any of their Win2000
stuff to any member nations, since that type of "force out" or
exclusivity is supposedly banned.
As for where the MSplot leaves Arachne? Right on any DOS machine, and
