The kernel and command.com _are_ DOS.<g>
The rest of it is just utility programs.
All I ever use is DRMOUSE, NWCACHE AND XCOPY
IBMBIO.COM, IBMDOS.COM and COMMAND.COM are all we really need.<g>
If I swiched to CTMOUSE, some other cache program and some other xcopy:
