I know someone else besides me was complaining about often being unable
to see where the cursor was on the screen. Since we can't change the
size, I went looking for another option. And I found it, if you want to
edit your ACF/Arachne.cfg by hand: The color of the mouse cursor can be
easily changed. I offer the following, which I call "addto.acf"

; The color format for mouse cursor is expressed as two numbers, such as
; 15 10, which changes default cursor at white (15) to red (10) when the
; cursor is over an active area (html link, url, Arachne menu item, etc).
; Basic colors can be set using [O]ptions with white always being default
; for normal cursor, with white, yellow, and red as 'active' color. If
; you select "No Highlight" the cursor will always be white. However,
; if have trouble finding your cursor on the screen and want to try
; something other than white, you can hand edit Arachne.cfg, or your .acf
; of choice. Colors from 0 (black) to 15 (white) can be used. You can
; be original and mix cyan and magenta, or have a dark hue for normal
; and a bright hue for active (5 13 gives dark cyan for normal cursor
; with bright cyan for active.) Colors above 15 may be used, but
; there's not much difference between them and lower numbered colors.

; dark grey and light grey in addition to white and black. Color
