Hi there- Reuben from Seattle, WA, USA here... I've not used a
mail-list, so I'm hoping this goes where it's supposed to, (!) and that it
hasn't already been answered 300 times!
what do I do with the above error ('PPP down, driver not loaded')? I've
successfully installed DOS (MS- 6.22) and Arachne 1.61, and an external OR
internal modem set on com2/IRQ3. It dials successfully every time, but
'hangs' and won't browse.
I actually DID get it to surf (quite fun! except I apparently can't
read my Hotmail...) a couple times, but I changed to the 'fastpc.acf'
profile, and now no matter WHAT I change, I can't get Arachne to take
advantage of the established connection. What am I forgetting?
