You may have to change the following in Arachne.cfg:
> Base Default
to:
Base 0x2f8
Do you have a COM1 ?
If not, then you may need a fix program called COMPORTS.
Note that Arachne.cfg is overwritten when you select a different .acf.
That's why Roger suggested you make a copy called "whatUlike".acf so
you can restore it.
Then put that name here:
[profile]
Profile "whatUlike".ACF
This does NOTHING except display that name on the screen so it doesn't
REALLY have to match, but avoids confusion if it does.
Let us know if you made the other changes Roger suggested.
(Whatever way is most straightforward to you)
