All three of the ISPs I use (1 pay, 2 free) work with either terminal 
login or PAP/CHAP. I did not know my local pay ISP worked with 
PAP/CHAP until I used Steve Lawson's Goin' Postal email program last 
Christmas. I thought I would need to write a script for it, but it 
started loggin in without one, so it dawned on me that they were 
accepting PAP/CHAP.
