If you enter your Login username are you presented with a prompt for 
your password (probably "Password:" without the quotes). If you enter 
your correct password what do you see? Tell us some more about your 
computer, especially your COMport/Modem configurations. You might 
want to post your arachne.cfg file (be sure to edit out your password 
in the locations where appears before posting).
