You need to add these (the first one is often all you need):

application/rar RAR
application/octet-stream RAR

In Arachne it's mime.cfg and in Netscape (3.x and bellow IIRC)
Options|General|Helpers

Of course if the server isn't sending them correct then that's another
thing entirely. Try and download one of the RAR files from my page - the
Arachne server is configured correctly. (But is it for both or the latter
one? I can't remember).
