Bernie,

Clarence hit me with this request yesterday. I spent HOURS last night
working with MIME.CFG trying to get Arachne to d/l a file from Dragon
that Clarence wanted. I even went so far as to try piping any RAR file
through to 'saveas' [worked only partway, I'm not good with DGI].

HOURS and hours and hours ... Then you say check out your site and see
if it works [I had missed trying the octet-string] and oboy ... it
downloads as a file. To be saved as ...

But the files on dragon76 still won't come down as a file.

Is there ANY way to force Arachne to take certain types of files and
*always* download in background [1.4Mb is too big to download as a
"page" and then save] then take you automatically to the 'saveas' page?

I can certainly understand Clarence's frustration -- I thought I'd given
him the cure with a couple of simple lines. But they didn't work. I
wish I could tell the people on the dragon76 site how frustrated I am
with *them*!!
