What are most common problems for newbies ?

I used maximum compression only with PKZIP, and good compression with the
others.
I've done so, to show, that PKZIPs max. compression is much larger than
RARs or ACEs good compression.

And it is pretty OK to say, that RAR will allways beat PKZIP ...

No ... definitely not ...
ACE is tighter than RAR ... although the difference is not as big as
zip->rar

I use mostly rar, because it is better known, and more people have it.
(PS: ACE mimics RAR, it also has NC like GUI :)
