ppp-go -q shuts down modem dial-up and connect noise.

I have no idea what dragonlinux uses as there program versions, might make
a difference.

I use pppsetup and have no problems. I have tried others which can be
downloaded from www.linuxberg.com, such as wvdial, and pppconfigure. They
have all worked for me fine and are not dependent on the vendors
release. E.G. the Redhat pppconfig only works with RedHat. SuSe had there
own and then switched to wvdial.

Anyhow so far I have not had any luck compliying arachne/linux. Errors so
far have been a libc file missing and then segmentations faults (which I
though were related to hardware, E.G. out of disk space of out of memory)
and am now getting a no file found even though the arachne file is there.

I am using linux that was built from a slackware release and updated with
whatever files and new kernels as they became available. Has anyone gotten
this baby to go? Been waiting for a long time for a Linux/Arachne.

Regards,
Helm
