Well, I'm finally online with Dragonlinux and Lynx.
It wasn't that big a deal, but it's hard to tell the difference between
rocks and trees when you don't know what a rock looks like. <g>
I had specified my nameserver as 199.212.094.065
This is what they told me, and it works for Arachne and Trumpet Winsock.
I remembered that it DIDN'T work with Quarterdeck Winsock so I changed it
for Dragonlinux PPP to: 199.212.94.65.
Works fine now. Seems it must be important. I guess Arachne strips the zeros.
PPP still sleeps for 60 seconds before dialing, but at least I'm online and
able to access the documentation. <G>
