But they are NOT the same thing. I could just as well say that:

But Assembler is directly linked to the specific hardware, so this isn't
possible.

Sam please please please stop writing "Java Script" - it is named
"JavaScript". This should make the point that they are un-related easier to
see.

Yes. Netscape invented JavaScript (LiveWire the original name IIRC would
have been much betetr since then people wouldn't confuse JavaScript with
Java).

Just some reason that poped into my head:
1. They don't know how install another browser
2. They don't know other browsers exist
3. Microsoft has said that Internet Explorer is the best
4. They falsely assume that Internet Explorer handles everything correctly
