And if you understand that, than why don't you believe it.

Again ... for clearance we call JavaScript 'A' and Java 'B'.

There is a scriptinglanguage called A.
It is interpreted by an interpreter called A interpreter, which is built
into many browsers.

Completely unrelated to this, there is a full fledged Opject Oriented
language called B.

So A could be the basic from my commodore 64, and B could be C++.

So according to your logic C64 basic is connected to C++ ...
but they ARE NOT !!! (And Java and JavaScript are neither)

than RTFM !

SH> JavaScript is a script language.
like many others ... PERL, Basic

SH> A script language must have a facility for interpreting it.
yes ... usually called the interpreter ;)

Yes ... so JavaScript is interpreted by the JavaScript Interpreter ...
so what ???

 SH> You may consider this a non-relationship if you so wish;
I consider this a relationship, but this is irrelevant to our discussion.

SH> however, as for myself, I perceive a relationship to exist.
But ther is no relationship.
JavaScript is interpreted by the JS Interpreter
Java is run in a Java VM ....

Where is the relationship ??
