Not really.
I, and many others I assume, don't like the idea of APMs at all.
They belong in the bag with Wizards.
That bag should be placed in the trash. <g>
Seriously, I would be very pleased if all these downloadable thingys
were zips which had to be manually installed.
The "OFFICE" skin is a good example.
Those that downloaded it just wanted a "serious" XCHLogo ikon.
Instead, they got their arachne.cfg re-written as punishment for being
so conservative.
So, you see that backing up the Logos would have been no help.
Backups are a good idea in general, but general backup should not be required.
A good installer would never mess with my setup WITHOUT MY PERMISSION.
Unfortunately, the twit at the other end is always sure he knows what's good
for you - whether you like it or not.<G>
