I think you're correct about NIC
But, is anyone else using Smartdrv on an SCSI hard drive???
Just for the heck-of-it, see if you still get the lost clusters if you
*don't* use Smartdrv.
I know, I'm grasping at straws here. :-)
But *something* is different between your end and mine.
We just need to figure out which one of the differences is causing you
to get the lost custers while I don't get any.
If we keep working on it, we'll find it.
