Hi Mike, thanks for the info.
Now, I wonder, might it help remove noise from the 'phone line to add
a shunt to earth/mains-neutral through a suitable capacitor or inductor?
Sort of an RFI shunt or block as the case may be...or even an 80cycle
to 6kC bandpass?
