Hmmm I see that UKA_PPP uses ISPA, but there are other options.
CAPIPKT - http://www.iaik.at/Research/Networks/ISDN/capipkt.html
PAPI - search for it and you might find it, the servers that were supposed
to have it were down.

Michael: These programs (or atleast CAPIPKT) should perhaps be added to the
ISDN How-To in Arachne (where only UKA_PPP is mentioned IIRC).

Lars: how do you use the ISDN connection?

We get back to this question then: "Do you want to use the LAN for more
than sharing the Internet connection?" If the answer is yes then you'll
probably be better of with NT, Novell (the real thing not Personal Netware)
or Linux. If it is No then there's no problem what-so-ever. I have use the
internet with Linux (ssh before sshdos), DOS and Win95 (just to test it)
sharing the same connection so it will work for you too.

As long as the OS/program you want to use can specify:

1. IP
2. Netmask
3. DNS
4. Gateway
And of course can be connected to the LAN (but that's hardware/driver
related) you will have no problem.

You will be able to use it to use the Internet regardless what the OS is
(heck you can even try and program your GameBoy to surf if you want but I
don't know how you would proceed - especially since you need to get it onto
the LAN in some way).

Problem nr 3 seems to be the easiest to fix since it doesn't exist ;-)
