I agree about that "files would be nice" - I would like to be able to do
that as well but it's not something I desperatly need to do (I have a 386
that I can plug in as a Novell PNW server and thereby copy between the
computers, although I'll need to reboot them to DOS then).

Yes, it's very easy. (I could make a smart remark here about how another OS
is but I will not).

No problems, do you also have the floppies that came with the card(s)?

Exactly, you should infact not even run LSL, VLM etc. You do need to find
the *packet* driver (this is not the one you already have) for your card
and since it's a NE2000 card it's system\pktdrvrs\ne2000.com (you should
also look on the floppies that came with the card - perhaps that version
uses less memory), if it hadn't been on either of these places you could
have visted crynwr to download it.
Remember that the vector for the packetdriver must be the same as it is in
napt.ini

Ex. You don't need to login to a network SERVICE when playing games over
the LAN - but you do need to connect to the network (the SPX/IPX drivers
for most DOS games - you have already found these, netbeui for others (well
actually only Heroes of Might and Magic II AFAIK)).

Yes, just as easy as that. Follow my guidelines and you should be up and
running in "no-time". Just ask and I'll explain away to the best of my
ability (I do know what I'm talking about but I'm perhaps not so good in
letting you know).
