Need a teeny bitta help

Hey Arachne list! I need a little help getting my arachne notebook working, I want to have a travelling arachne/dos machines but am running into a few snags. Before I get to the sickness let me tell you about the patient.. It's a Compaq Presario Model 1235 P2/266Mhz 32 Megs of ram 2.4 megs of Video Memory I *think* either a 4 or 8 gig hard drive, I forget.. 24x CD-ROM non working. No here are the things I need help with First I need to get a memory manager working.. Everytime it launches emm386 in the config.sys, it reboots my computer... Some times before it restarts the machine it says Fram=NONE, if that helps at all.. What I was woundering is if I could use something else besides EMM386 maybe like QEMM or something of that sort. Right now it is using *no* memory manager so what, I can work with 640k... That won't make net surfing really comfortable.. Moving along... I got ahold of a PCMCIA Megahertz 14.4 modem, Now I am woundering where I could get DOS drivers, packet drivers for it, So arachne will actually be able to log onto the net.. I trooped through the 3com/Megahertz site all night, to no avail. It's a Gold Series Fax Modem.. If any one can give me any hlep on the momdem I would really be thankful. I'm going to wait on gettin the cd-rom up, it's just a matter of findin my drivers again.. Heh the sound card has all drivers built into the CMOS so I was lucky with it :) Well I hope some one can help, thanks in advanced. Zach
