There must be a specific PCMCIA driver to activate the slots. This is
specific to Your laptop, not to the card. You should browse through the
files of Your HD, perhaps You can find some usefull (at least this was
the case with a Toshiba laptop). If You get the modem installed it will
be recognized by Arachne, without any further driver.

Try to tontact the maufacturer of Your laptop.
