And thats my point. I concidered other operation systems,
and especialy linux, but in general all I wanted to say is that
I still prefer an improved DOS.

DOS is quite popular. Its not mainstream,
but compared to all the other abandoned platforms, its the most
popular and supported. Upgrades and support is availble very widly.
And in my original rant, I was just raising the general discussion
point of how too bad it is that with all these upgrades and new
DOS brands availble, nobody really thought about trying to make
a version that will truly be designed for the new machines.
