EDIT.COM first appeared with DOS 5.00, and it was included also with
the more advanced versions.  In DOS 5.00 you need QBASIC, also included,
in order for EDIT.COM to work.  I don't know if QBASIC is required for
the more advanced versions of EDIT.COM.
