Hi Matt

I have the same computer (486DX/33) as your and I used DOS until I
install Linux. II have to tell you (not only to you) Linux is real
alternative of DOS. Since I install it I learn more about computers and
Internet - how works mail and web servers, more about protocols and
hardware etc.
Of course there is very much software for Linux(Unix) and everything is
free ! If you used to use DOS I think Linux text mode (console) is the
thing that you need. It works good (fast) on my computer and I'm very
happy with it !
But if you think DOS is all that you need try my site
iko.homepage.com/downl.htm . There is some programs for DOS ( is this a
advertisement ? ;) yes it is :-) Or if you look for DOS games go to
www.dosgames.com

p.s. If there is another Bulgarians in this mail list, go to
arachne.dir.bg - official arachne's site in Bulgarian (translated by me :)
, and I hope Michael to add link to it as soon as possible

p.s.2 I send this mail 2 days ago, but i didn't receive it, so I decide
to post it again
