If you send the url or the .pdf file to Adobe, they will convert it to text
(pdf2txt) or to html (pdf2htm) and e-mail the results to you. (See Adobe's
site for further information.) *HOWEVER*, if the .pdf is from *scanned*
material, it will just send you the pages back as blank. (One source that I
sent to Adobe for conversion did just that! The explanation that I received
from the source was that it was scanned so that it couldn't be converted to
text, and then changed, changing the entire meaning of the document.)
