This may depend on what Arachne display frame you have selected.
If I remember correctly, you are using 640x480 ?
In this mode there are three display window possibilities.
The smallest window for data and image has large (possibly carved) buttons.
The next window has a narrow title and url bar across the top with some small
buttons on the right. Both have a status bar at bottom.
The fullscreen mode has NO icons anywhere and NO status bar.
Which are you trying to use ?

ARACHNE\SYSTEM\IKONS.
There should be names like BUTTON*.ikn, SMALL*.ikn and XCHLOGO*.ikn.
