It's nice to know that you, and other people, take the time to see if newer
is really better. Too bad we few can't affect world trends. <g>

I agree, reluctantly, that NS3.04 has about all the necessary functionality.
But NS2.02 also has all the above except the newer version of js support and
is 1/2 the size.  In spite of the fact that you don't care how big it is as
long as it runs fast, size does matter.

Speed seems to be directly related to size.
Probably because size is directly related to sloppy programming.
The bigger it is, the slower it is. NS2.02 is twice as fast as NS3.04.

If you can live without js, (and I can) NS2.02 turns it OFF better than
Arachne.
