1) about new small-icons layout: I don't have time to manage all I would
like to do. I agree that removing
existing and popular layout was not wise, I didn't know that so many
people are using what I considered to be rater ugly and unbalanced. It
will take some time to reimplement it, using new 14 nice-looking icons
instead of those 12 older, which were not enough to access all Arachne
functions easily just by mouse.
2) about some problems: they may be related to upgrading existing
Arachne installation instead of re-installing. I am heading towards
upgrade-safe version of Arachne, but irronicaly, although 1.68 and 1.69
are first releases which don't overwrite existing hotlist.htm, format
of cache.idx in 1.69 is slightly different than in several previous
releases. I forgot to mention it in changes.txt, sorry... clearing
cache should be enought, but re-installing 1.69 to completely clear
directory should be enough.
3) I don't know what to think about various dialer/modem detection
related bug-reports. Yes, phone number cannot be chantes from ppp_init,
this is bug which has to be fixed. I haven't touched PPP interface or
MINITERM or modem detection wizard, but on the other hand, I am no
longer testing PPP interface any longer, if I don't touch anything which
is PPP related...
