Added restrictions? Either you are forgetting what you did or is very good
at hiding stuff ;-) It looked like some missed code to me.

How are you going to use a filemanager without being able to delete files?
With JS you could make a pop-up (ie. alert) asking if the user really wants
to delete the files or not, thereby adding some security (although many
would probably want that check removed so a new Arachne.Cfg variable would
be needed).
