Hi Glenn;
It would be nice to have a hotkey that would call up your personal
favorite NC/mc/VC clone as specified in Arachne.cfg so we could pick
the one that suits our needs best. <G>
If you are interested, last night I went shopping for these managers and
brought home two free ones.
DC (Dos Commander) is VERY small (written in ASM) looks just like mc, and
is quite programmable. I personally would like one change, F3, back to the
traditional "VIEW" but otherwise it's nice:
ftp://ftp.eunet.bg/pub/simtelnet/msdos/fileutil/dc-sk.zip
Lots more stuff in that directory.
The other one was DN (Dos Navigator v1.51). The source is available.
Much bigger - highly rated - don't know what it looks like cuz it wouldn't
work for me - please let me know if it does anything for YOU.
ftp://ftp.cdrom.com/pub/sac/utilfile/dn151.zip
You can find both together and MORE on this page:
