don't use any proxy.
netmask 255.255.255.0 is right if you use 192.168.0.X as your internal
addresses.
Win98 and win2000 both contain simple and VERY limited NAT support.
I use a linux gateway with masquerading for that purpose ... works like a
charm !
PS: Silly question ... after you have loaded the packetdriver, are you
able to ping the wingate server ??
