I don't think you need to invoke miniterm to connect with lsppp.  Miniterm
is a dialer.  You don't need it because lsppp has its own built in dialer.
Glenn says it is easy to use lsppp with version 1.70.  He posted a message
several weeks ago on how to set it up.  There are quite a few tricks
involved in order to get it to work with Arachne.  I haven't tried it yet
with my current Arachne version.  I did get lsppp to work just fine with
LYNX386 and with PC-PINE.  Getting it to work involved a number of
modifications of the dialup batch file that was designed originally for use
with epppd.

Some people on this list say you need 50 files and 50 buffers.  I get by
just fine running Arachne with just 20 files and 20 buffers.
