Very interesting comment, Clarence. I think you have just solved what
has been a very deep baffling mystery to me. It was so deep that I am
convinced that it was even profound too!
I have installed Arachne 1.70, rev 3 on four machines. I had a very
minor, but very consternating problem on just one of my Arachne
installations. The problem is this:
When I would click on the list of installed packages ikon I would usually
get an Arachne Load Error if I were offline, but it would always work if I
were online. The installation that had this problem had an environment
size set to 2048. In the other three machines I had either no environment
size set, or I had an environment size of 512. I just changed the
environment size to 512 on the installation that had the problem, the
machine that formerly had the environment size set to 2048, and behold,
now no more problem!
Thank you very much for your comment.
