If the directory specifications in Arachne.cfg are wrong, then she
won't be able to find DOSSHELL.bat.

Like I said. Maybe she can't find it.
We are likely missing some information here regarding the directory
structure of your HD install and the corresponding arachne.cfg info.
Where is ARACHNETEMP ?
