This can sometimes happen if you are using some of the external editor APMs.
Furthermore, if you are using an external editor, this can happen regardless
of whether you are online or off. There are a few known bugs in some of the
external editor programs. Also there are workarounds to avoid getting
bitten by the bugs. First try composing and replying to messages by using
only Arachne's built-in editor. After you become confident in using the
built-in editor we will tell you how to avoid getting bitten by the bugs in
the external editors. By conducting a little experimentation and research,
you might be able to figure out for yourself how to protect yourself from
these pesky critters.
