Hi list,
no, it is not completely useless. Fortunately there are many
mirror sites. You may use Simtel site until you find what you
need. Then go directly to your favourite / closest mirror site for
download. It is just the redirection on Simtel site that does not
work. You have to go there on your own. Or put the file name to a
search engine.
BTW: The mirror sites I used for downloads are still working with the
old directory structure. I am not so sure, however, how often those
mirrors are actualized or whether the existence of the old search
interface indicates that the latest programs will not be there. Any
ideas?
