I had one of the original Osborne 'portables'.  As I recall it had a single sided 
180k(or 
something like that)  5 1/4" drive which was later upgraded to double sided double 
density (360k).

For all that, & the miniscule memory, WordStar ran as fast or faster than any of the 
latest 
stuff under any other operating system.  Now reading and writing to the disk 
drive...:-)
