Here Arachne is not running from the windows DOS-box because of lack of
memory when dialing.
However the soundcard (Soundblaster PCI128) works under DOS if started
from the DOS-box (the installation has been done under Windows).
CD-player runs with DOS and Windows... no problem at all.

To be able to install the soundblaster card in DOS (without Windows) I
need the adress and the IRQ of the PCI-slot. I am not able to get these
details from the windows installation (they must be there!).
On a friends computer we have the same soundcard working with DOS
only... but his PCI-slots are diffirent to mine.
We are working on this and are about sure we will discover the secrets when
the hollydays are fully over.
Of course we will let you all know...
