Also I just received a call from my son who is in the U.S. Marine
Corps at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.  He says that the entire base
is on the highest possible alert status.  All of my son's training
activities scheduled for the day have been cancelled.  All were sent
back to the barracks so that they could "listen to the news".
